Shep, formally known as Freddy, was dealt a tough hand. Abandoned in a crate outside of Chicago Animal Care & Control, he was fighting for his life. After being rescued by PAWS Chicago, Shep received intensive care at our Medical Center until he was ready to continue his healing journey in a foster home. Little did he know, he would be going home for good! Jackie Loftis and Craig Crawford quickly became proud members of the “foster fail” club as their love helped Shep make a full recovery.
