Pepita's Story
We have felt so well prepared for our adoption and are incredibly grateful for the resources, and all that went into getting our new puppy ready for us before we even met her. She is so healthy, loved and is transitioning perfectly. Yes, she is a puppy, but because you prepared us with what to expect, what we need and even our first vet appointment, our experience has been so seamless.
Sears (formerly known as Pepita) is loving, playful, kind and very well socialized. When we first left the adoption center, she turned back several times like, “I don’t want to leave” and that gave us so much hope for dogs and cats in Chicago. That while they are in between homes, they have a place to be cared for, loved and warm.
