Vienna's Story
“Bright, curious, and full of love and play!” is how her former fosters describe Vienna. She loves her people and wants to be a part of everything you do, whether you are relaxing at home or exploring the outdoors. She especially loves a good challenge and excels at figuring things out, from puzzle toys to training sessions. When she successfully learns a new trick, she gives the most endearing "proud look," and you'll want to cheer her on! When it's time to settle down, this snuggler will happily crawl into your lap or nap in her crate. Vienna already knows "sit" and "stay," and with her eagerness to please (and maybe a tasty treat), she is excited to expand her vocabulary. Her leash walking skills are improving undeterred by noisy city streets. She is house-trained and comfortable taking a break in her crate while you are away.
New environments can make Vienna a little unsure at first. However, with routine and gentle reassurance, her confidence blossoms quickly, her tail wags enthusiastically, and she becomes all in! She truly thrives with a patient and consistent family who can help her feel safe. Are you ready for adventures and cuddles with this loving dog? Meet Vienna
Welcome to our adoption event – Rescue Together, A Citywide Adoption Event – taking place on October 18th and 19th. Rescue Together is a community adoption event hosted by PAWS Chicago in partnership with Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) and will include various local rescue shelters aimed at finding loving homes for more than 100 homeless pets in one weekend.
Over the past 28 years, PAWS and CACC have worked together to combat the homeless and at-risk pet population of Chicago.
This event will take place at PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center and CACC. PAWS Chicago will be waiving fees for select animals, CACC fees will be waived for the event and other local shelter fees will vary based on their pricing.
This dog is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting please follow the below steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
