A foster described Annie as a gentle soul who’s still learning to trust but lights up when the laser pointer comes out. She can be very shy around people, but with patience, a peaceful home, and a few Churu treats, she’s already showing signs of progress. What will make her feel at home? A sunny window perch, daily play sessions, and being given the space to come out of her shell.
Annie hasn’t quite warmed up to human touch yet, but she’s curious and observant, and her foster has seen her grow more comfortable each day. She’s content spending a few hours alone and thrives in a calm environment. She’s also comfortable being around children and other cats.
Could you be Annie’s new family? You might be if you have a quiet household and are ready to let a shy kitten set the pace. With time and love, Annie could be your most rewarding companion.
Annie can’t wait to meet you!
If you’re interested in adopting this pet, there are few steps you must complete before scheduling an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center:
1. Please start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to their needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. Finally, schedule an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center! During your appointment, you’ll be able to meet all currently adoptable animals at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center and walk through the adoption process with our staff and volunteers. Appointments are not required but encouraged for a more efficient visit.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet during your first visit to the Adoption Center, please feel free to schedule another appointment.
Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
