Fluff's Story
Fluff is such a special girl, combining an affectionate, loving nature and professional biscuit-making skills, with that of a chill, independent lady who can spend the day snoozing and basking in the sun. This ‘kitty grande dame’ would love to share her love of life and enjoyment of precise head scratches with you. In return, Fluff will be the perfect house kitty, making you feel loved and wanted; checking in when you’re in the bathroom, or lying beside you while you’re sleeping, you’ll feel her sweet presence throughout the day.
Fluff can be a little shy, especially around new people, so a little patience is in order, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up and feel in the groove, and then you might even be treated to some “catnip zoomies”, or head boops, to help you find that desired spot for her scritches. So, if you’re looking for that perfect kitty, then this “fluffy enigma” is the gal for you!
Meet Fluff
Welcome to our adoption event – Rescue Together, A Citywide Adoption Event – taking place on October 18th and 19th. Rescue Together is a community adoption event hosted by PAWS Chicago in partnership with Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) and will include various local rescue shelters aimed at finding loving homes for more than 100 homeless pets in one weekend.
Over the past 28 years, PAWS and CACC have worked together to combat the homeless and at-risk pet population of Chicago.
This event will take place at PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center and CACC. PAWS Chicago will be waiving fees for select animals, CACC fees will be waived for the event and other local shelter fees will vary based on their pricing.
This cat is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting please follow the below steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
