Penelope is the other half of the Golden Girls duo -- a sweet, older gal looking for a home for her and her gal-pal Diana to enjoy their ongoing retirement. Penelope may be a little slow to warm up in new situations so patience and a quiet space for her and Diana to call their own will help quicken the adjustment.
In true Gold Girls fashion, Penelope and her BFF Diana must live together. Are these two ladies right for you? They might be if you do not have children in the home, can ensure a peaceful environment, and understand that patience is the foundation to becoming their BFF.
Welcome to our adoption event – Rescue Together, A Citywide Adoption Event – taking place on October 18th and 19th. Rescue Together is a community adoption event hosted by PAWS Chicago in partnership with Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) and will include various local rescue shelters aimed at finding loving homes for more than 100 homeless pets in one weekend.
Over the past 28 years, PAWS and CACC have worked together to combat the homeless and at-risk pet population of Chicago.
This event will take place at PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center and CACC. PAWS Chicago will be waiving fees for select animals, CACC fees will be waived for the event and other local shelter fees will vary based on their pricing.

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
