Jem's Story
Meet the amazing Jem - a superdog whose powers include jumping sky-high with all four feet off the ground! After she's shown off her talents, Jem will eagerly come over for hugs and snuggles - and she'd never say no to a treat. Jem enjoys exploring the world around her, but at heart she is a "people dog" who loves following her favorite humans from place to place.
Are you Jem's new family? She's fond of adults, children, and other dogs, but doesn't need constant company. As a compact, medium-sized adult dog, Jem is done growing and will fit perfectly into your house or apartment. Jem can't wait to bounce her way into your heart!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Adoption Process
All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date shots based on age and arrival date.
