Phineas's Story
The first things you notice about Phineas include his big, beautiful eyes, his cute little overbite, and the tipped ear that indicates he used to be a street cat. But then you’ll immediately discover how grateful this handsome tabby-and-white guy is to be indoors with people, because he can’t stop pressing up against you for snuggles! The caretaker who rescued him told us Phineas likes hide & seek, chasing bugs, and playing with other cats—as long as they don’t mind if he’s the boss! He’s all you could want in a feline companion: playful, independent, and friendly.

Meet Phineas
Welcome to our adoption event – Rescue Together, A Citywide Adoption Event – taking place on October 18th and 19th. Rescue Together is a community adoption event hosted by PAWS Chicago in partnership with Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) and will include various local rescue shelters aimed at finding loving homes for more than 100 homeless pets in one weekend.
Over the past 28 years, PAWS and CACC have worked together to combat the homeless and at-risk pet population of Chicago.
This event will take place at PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center and CACC. PAWS Chicago will be waiving fees for select animals, CACC fees will be waived for the event and other local shelter fees will vary based on their pricing.
This cat will be available at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center (1997 N. Clybourn Ave)
