Manicotti's Story
"Manicotti is a very curious dog and will always see what you are up to!" says his former foster. He will greet you exuberantly and it may take a few zoomies before he calms down. Then, he is ready for belly rubs on the couch! This active pup enjoys his walks with treats to keep him focused on his leash skills. Back home a game of fetch helps to work out residual energy! Manicotti knows Sit, Stay, Come. And he can count 1-2-3 treats! While he loves his people, he prefers to eat his meals mindfully in a zone by himself. He is expertly house trained and can handle himself alone for a few hours while you run errands.
“Mani” as he is affectionately known at PAWS, is training hard to be the best dog he can be for his new family. A home with adults who have experience with young active dogs, willing to patiently bring out the best in this energetic pup will earn his trust and love forever.
Meet Manicotti
Welcome to our adoption event – Rescue Together, A Citywide Adoption Event – taking place on October 18th and 19th. Rescue Together is a community adoption event hosted by PAWS Chicago in partnership with Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) and will include various local rescue shelters aimed at finding loving homes for more than 100 homeless pets in one weekend.
Over the past 28 years, PAWS and CACC have worked together to combat the homeless and at-risk pet population of Chicago.
This event will take place at PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center and CACC. PAWS Chicago will be waiving fees for select animals, CACC fees will be waived for the event and other local shelter fees will vary based on their pricing.
This dog will be available at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center (1997 N. Clybourn Ave)
